Ascent is seeking a talented and creative Content Marketer to join a dynamic and growing team. This role is ideal for a professional with a blend of writing, creative, and technical skills with experience creating impactful content marketing materials that support brand and sales objectives.

The Content Marketing Specialist will work with the VP of Marketing Communications to develop and execute content strategies that resonate with our target audience, driving brand awareness and lead generation. Supporting product marketing and sales / business development, the ideal candidate will possess sound writing and editing skills, strong graphic design capabilities, and video editing experience. They will play a critical role in producing high-quality content across multiple platforms, including web, social media, large format, and marketing materials

to support brand awareness, lead generation, and overall marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Understand target B2B audiences to create content that aligns with their needs, preferences, and pain points.
  • Create and implement a comprehensive content marketing plan aligned with the company’s goals and marketing objectives and set short-term goals.
  • Proofread , edit and improve content where applicable.
  • Develop and manage an owned content calendar for social media, website posts, and event marketing materials to ensure a consistent and timely flow of content.
  • Produce engaging, high-quality multi-media content, including but not limited to blog posts, case studies, infographics, product images, videos, and social media posts to increase customer engagement.
  • Leverage paid, earned, owned, and social channels to optimize content distribution.
  • Track , analyze, and report content performance metrics, using insights to refine creative elements and execution strategies to optimize outcomes.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams to ensure content aligns with overall business growth, product launch & awareness, and business objectives.
  • Awareness of industry trends, and utilization of necessary tools and best practices to make informed recommendations and improvements to marketing content and strategies.
  • Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years of B2B content marketing experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Digital Marketing, Media Communications, Graphic Design or relevant field.
  • Proven expertise in content marketing development, lead generation and funnel strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute content strategies that drive results.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MSOffice, WordPress, content management systems (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot).
  • Understanding of B2B buyer personas, predict factors that influence buying decisions, and how / when to inform and accelerate the buyer journey.
  • The ability to collect and interpret data, providing actionable insights.
  • Experience with social media, paid digital, and email marketing strategies and content development.
  • Graphic design and video editing capabilities (proficiency with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar is a plus).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
