Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receive, review, classify, and prioritize job orders using a computer system.
- Schedule and track work orders to optimize workforce and resources.
- Adjust and reschedule work orders due to material availability, manpower constraints, or operational needs.
- Coordinate with supervisors, planners, estimators, and key personnel to ensure timely task completion.
- Compile and analyze production data, including material usage, work order completion, and operational performance.
- Generate reports detailing production progress, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, work orders, and inventory transactions.
- Verify materials received against documented requirements and ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- Prepare requisitions for the procurement of necessary supplies and materials.
- Assign work orders based on established priorities and operational needs.
- Conduct site visits to gather information, verify work order status, and assess ongoing work.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and government contract requirements.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational delays.
- Assist in developing work schedules to balance workload and optimize resource allocation.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: In lieu of a degree, a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Production Controller in a facilities maintenance environment.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a professional office setting.
- Preferred experience in trades such as electrician, plumbing, or HVAC (not required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with computer systems for managing production workflows, work orders, and material tracking.
- Ability to analyze production schedules, inventory data, and workflow efficiency.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Must be highly organized and able to work independently.
- Must successfully complete a National Agency Check (NAC) for required access.
