Sebastian Tech Solutions International (STS) – a woman-owned, economically disadvantaged small business (EDWOSB) and trusted government contractor – is seeking a Production Controller to support operations at Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) Albany, GA. This role is vital in managing and coordinating administrative and logistical workflows related to building maintenance, plumbing, and electrical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Production Control Support in a fast-paced facilities maintenance environment.
- Answer phones and interact with customers daily, providing updates and coordinating service requests.
- Receive, screen, and classify all incoming job orders.
- Evaluate job elements and establish work order priorities in coordination with scheduled and pending work.
- Schedule work concurrently or sequentially to optimize labor efficiency.
- Prepare requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies.
- Create and maintain charts, graphs, and production tracking reports for reference by management and senior staff.
- Develop and manage spreadsheets to track work orders and performance metrics.
- Verify material receipts against bills of material to ensure accuracy and alignment with job requirements.
- Proactively reschedule jobs due to materials, manpower, or weather constraints, and collaborate with supervisors, planners, and estimators to mitigate delays.
- Ensure timely support for ongoing jobs, minimizing downtime and maximizing resource efficiency.
- Provide consistent on-site support during core hours, with potential overtime to meet program goals and deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Production Controller role.
- Background in building maintenance, plumbing, and electrical is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and MAXIMO.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge of USMCMax, I&E Public processes, and internal procedures.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
