Position Summary
The Technical Alignment Engineer is the primary technical contact for our customer. This position ensures that service delivery aligns with ASG’s standards and best practices, thereby reducing the amount of reactive support required by that client. This individual will have an in-depth knowledge of the customer environment and will be ASG’s internal resource for technical knowledge regarding the customer.

Role and Responsibilities
· Promote and represent the corporate culture and core values in all aspects of your job duties.
· Onboard New Clients
o Load RMM agents and network tools to assess the client environment.
o Meet with the client to ensure ASG has all the relevant I.T. information in order to service them.
o Perform MSP team internal onboarding by informing them of the client’s I.T. environment.
o Enter the client information into ASG’s Standards & Best Practices web application.
o Be the primary technical resource for the client.
· Develop, document and maintain knowledge of client networks
o Create a network snapshot
o Produce Hardware and software inventories
o Update configuration records in ASG’s Pro. Services App.
o Develop a basic understanding of Line of Business (LOB) applications and associated vendors
· Perform regular monthly onsite services
o Check server/network health.
o Monitor tools/application health.
o Maintain ASG Standards & Best Practices web application for each client.
o Perform restoration tests.
o Provide technical support & user issues.
o Develop technical relationship with client.
o Provide simple implementation of new technology.
o Identify technical risk.
· Implement ASG’s Standards and Best Practices
o Implement & help define standards and best practices with the Standards Committee
o Check the client environment against the administration checklist.
o Verification of remote services.
o Work with the vCIO to assess and minimize business risk.
o Evaluate and recommend new software, hardware, or upgrades.
· Ensures client satisfaction.
o Ensure technology is functioning properly.
o Coordinates with vCIO to implement technology proposals to meet business goals.
o Provide existing I.T. environment information for scoping projects for the Professional
Services team.

Skills & Abilities
Education: Associates degree (two-year college or technical school) Required, Field of Study: IT or related technical field or a
Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) preferred, Field of Study: IT or related technical field
Experience: 4 plus years of experience in network / IT systems and troubleshooting steps.
Computer Skills: Extensive proficiency with information technology regarding both hardware and software. In depth knowledge of Microsoft server and desktop operating systems.
Certifications &
Licenses: IT industry certifications are preferred, specifically Microsoft.
