Job Overview
Work directly for an Investigations Manager assisting on background due diligence and related private sector, non-criminal investigations assisting with both case work and case management. Accumulate information regarding initial stages of case, including basic information relative to type of issue involved, case setup, assignment of responsibilities to fellow team members, and preparation of initial reports. Ability to function as a departmental representative in routine issues throughout the life-cycle of the investigation. Support Team Leader on a variety of other tasks.
Job Responsibilities
· Identify client’s unique goals and utilize methods to reach these goals
· Develop and understanding of our organizational goals to consistently meet client expectations
· Learn and execute our proprietary investigative methods and techniques
· Assign portions of each investigation to individual team members and follow-up to ensure completion in a timely manner
· Draft detailed and supported investigative reports that will clearly explain the work that was conducted
· Data mining from proprietary and open-source channels
· Public Records Searches/Draft Freedom of Information Act Requests to government entities
· Criminal and Civil Court Record Searches
· Efficient maneuvering and collection of Open-Source Data
· Self-management of a weekly case load and meeting deadlines
· Autonomous workflow, as well as, working in a team atmosphere
