What You'll Do:
- Reporting of all unsafe working conditions to his/her supervisor.
- Care taker for all material, stock and production, at the facility.
- Cleanliness of the warehouse, dock area, and external areas of the facility.
- Compliance with all processes and procedures.
- Working the full-time schedule assigned.
- When exposed to the possibility of foot injuries, foot protection shall be worn, providing impact protection, complying with ANSI Z41-1991. 29 CFR 1910.132 and 1910.136.
- Doing the right thing at all times.
- Maintaining proficiency and certification to perform the tasks to which assigned.
- Authorized to release conforming merchandise to stock or to the customer
- Adhere to company values at all times.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles to include operating fork trucks, lifting and carrying merchandise and stocking in appropriate areas throughout the warehouse.
- Operate fork truck to unload pallets and heavier materials.
- Verify quantities of deliveries and merchandise serial numbers by comparing merchandise to packing slips.
- Visually inspect deliveries for damage and notifies management of discrepancies.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area at all times.
- Complete appropriate paperwork for deliveries and submits to management each day.
- Complete customer orders to include obtaining appropriate material from storage in accordance with picking ticket
- Prepare shipments to include boxing materials, labeling with appropriate shipping information and completing appropriate paperwork.
- Communicate delivery problems to customers and management promptly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Coordinate shipments, logistics/scheduling trucks, order filling, safety, housekeeping, QA, audits.
