Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a skilled Showroom Design Consultant to join our team in Arcadia, WI. As a key member of our Market Showrooms department, you will be responsible for designing and building out showrooms for our products at furniture markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan furniture layouts for upcoming markets to achieve a working floor plan and presentation.
- Collaborate with Research & Development, graphics, and product designers to make their interpretation of how the product should be displayed, a reality.
- Work with each market's showroom lead, Vice President, temporary workers, and contractors to set the showroom and ensure everything is ready for opening day.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years in an Interior Design related field (required), preferably retail.
- Experience in Showroom Design, Space Planning, Floor Planning, or Interior Design.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints.
