Operations Manager

ACS Logistics Holdings, LLC Dba Allegro Home Delivery is a fast-growing company beginning to disrupt the last mile home delivery market. We are currently looking for a motivated and energetic person with route, contract, and agent management knowledge to join our team.

Primary Role: You will oversee the daily operations of the customer service department. Communicating customer service objectives to our Customer Service Agents, training, coaching, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Part of your role will be to identify system and workflow improvements to enhance our team’s efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily operations of the customer service department
• Set customer service goals for team members and help them reach those goals
• Create and develop beneficial relationships with customers, vendors, and internal departments
• Actively manage the cycle times, expectations, and communication with customers
• Maintain customer satisfaction by providing problem-solving resources
• Respond to and resolve escalated issues and/or unique and complex customer requests
• Proactively manage the customer to foresee challenges and how to turn them into successes
• Coach, guide, and manage team members
• Suggest programs and procedures to enhance productivity and performance
• Contribute to the success of the organization by being a team player
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) is required
• Customer service skills
• Ability to remain professional, courteous, and patient when communicating with customers
• Creative problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize issues
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Ability to train, coach, mentor, and manage people
• Proficient in administrative and documentation procedures
• Demonstrated ability to analyze information and develop standards and process improvement
• Experience as a Customer Service Lead or Manager
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of logistics and freight movement a plus
