Job Tit le : Mortgage Specialist

Location : Remote

Duration : 12 Months Contract

Pay Range is $40 to $41.48 / hr. on W2

Job Description :

Review and approve Power of Attorney documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with legal and underwriting teams during loan origination to meet guidelines.
Work with Underwriters and Relationship Managers in a timely manner.
Deliver high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Cross-train to support additional job functions within the division during peak volumes or deadlines.

Education and / or Experience :

5 to 8 years of experience preparing mortgage closing documents, processing mortgage loans, or related experience.

Title and / or real estate closing experience is a plus.

Working knowledge of mortgage documents and an understanding of the mortgage life cycle.

High School Diploma / Equivalency; college degree preferred.

Knowledge and Skills :

Comprehensive knowledge of Power of Attorney documents.

Strong analytical interpretation of legal contractual language.

Knowledge and understanding of title commitments.

Good decision-making skills, research abilities, and initiative in solving problems.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple and changing priorities.

Exemplary collaboration, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Strong computer skills with familiarity in navigating Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office software.

Adherence to turn time commitments while working in a high-volume environment.

Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking abilities and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
