The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site development, utilities, and infrastructure design, with experience in leading and supporting civil engineering projects through all phases. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar design software is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support civil engineering projects from understanding client needs to shovel-ready construction documents.
- Prepare and develop design documentation, including site layouts, grading plans, utility plans, storm-water management plans, and related engineering drawings.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure project objectives, timelines, and budgets are met efficiently.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and project quality.
- Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals by working closely with regulatory agencies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure preferred.
- 5 years of civil engineering experience, with a strong background in site development, utilities, and infrastructure design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar design software.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, industry codes, and permitting processes.
