What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Assistant / Phlebotomist position at Aspen Valley Hospital?
We are currently hiring for a PRN LAB ASSISTANT / PHLEBOTOMIST to work Rotating shift within our Clinical Laboratory.
Compensation Range:
$27.35 – 43.76 per hour
Non Exempt
Night and weekend shift differentials up to $6 per hour!
The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.

Position Overview:
Assists the laboratory department by performing phlebotomies and standard laboratory specimen processing procedures following established policies and procedures. Also performs administrative tasks to support the effective delivery of care.
