AspireHopeNY, Inc. is hiring Youth Peer Advocates to provide services in the Wayne County, NY area.
Applicant must be between 18-30 years old and who has self-identified as a consumer or survivor of mental health services, special education services, juvenile justice, substance use disorders and/or foster care. Applicant should have qualities of leadership, knowledge of advocacy and group facilitation, willingness and availability to work evenings and weekends, ability to adhere to confidentiality and timely documentation and be able to use lived-experience to support youth in their recovery.
High school diploma or equivalency preferred and driver's license preferred. Background checks and fingerprinting (at no cost to applicant) are required.
Position is per diem; hours vary.
$15.76/hr & mileage reimbursement
