Position Summary
The Maintenance Parts Clerk will be responsible for managing inventory and procurement of maintenance parts essential for the smooth operation of our facility.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels for maintenance parts.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder parts as needed to prevent shortages.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary parts in a timely manner.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming parts ensuring proper documentation.
- Assist maintenance team in identifying and sourcing required parts for equipment repairs.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Maintain organized storage areas for easy access to parts.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to understand part requirements and usage patterns.
- Utilize inventory management software to track parts movement and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling and storing maintenance parts.

Experience Requirements
- Proven experience in inventory management, procurement, or a related field.
- Familiarity with maintenance parts commonly used in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office applications.
Educational & Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management is a plus.Pass and maintain current industrial forklift & man lift certifications
