As our Quality Analyst II , you'll support HID's success by :

• Utilizing quality assurance tools to test, track, analyze and report on materials, processes and products
• Collecting data, developing and maintaining documentation relative to quality assurance activities for continuous process improvement
• Assisting in conducting quality training and be actively involved in our continuous improvement, preventive and corrective action, and Safety programs
• Generating reports on issues identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommendations to effect improvements
• Assisting with Quality planning functions including Quality Management Systems and product audits
• Managing relevant KPIs, such as Delivered Quality, RMA, MRB, and CAPA
• Performing failure analysis on non-functioning HID products, understand the root cause and address with appropriate corrective actions; collect data to drive continuous improvement and prevent reoccurrence of the same failures
• Performing in-process inspection and on finished product at the suppliers / contract manufacturer in accordance to HID products drawings and record results on appropriate documentation; communicate any discrepancies to the person(s) responsible for root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action activities
• Conducting ISO 9001 internal audit and Supplier audits as needed
• Promoting the use of preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Lean, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), Measurement System Analysis, and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
• Working with the supplier to address unresolved supplier quality issues
• Complying with and reinforcing the requirements of quality / standard operating procedures and others at the suppliers / contract manufacturer
• Supporting new product development to deliver safe and effective products to the market by ensuring all aspects of design controls are robust and comply with company polices
• Working with purchasing to ensure supplier performance is regularly reported and corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner
