Job Description
- Facilitate small-group dyslexia instruction using evidence-based practices in accordance with the Texas Dyslexia Handbook and district policies.
- Serve as an instructional literacy leader at the campus level and provide guidance on the development and improvement of campus dyslexia programs.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide research-based support for students with dyslexia and related disorders.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on student performance utilizing various data sources.
- Maintain accurate student records, progress monitoring, and reports in compliance with state and local guidelines.
- Participate in professional development activities, attend meetings, and training as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
- Valid Driver's License with a driving record that meets district requirements.
- Minimum of five years teaching experience.
- Texas Teaching Certificate with Basic Language Skills (BLS).
