Corporate Trainer - Multifamily Property Management

Job Overview:
The Corporate Trainer works closely with leadership to ensure that all training services are aligned with the specific needs of multifamily property management operations. This role involves creating and delivering training programs to enhance the effectiveness of property management teams, including site staff for multifamily apartment buildings. The Corporate Trainer is a full-time (8a-5p M-F), in-person, salaried position based in Overland Park, KS. Occasional travel within the assigned region will be required.
Duties
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy focused on multifamily property management best practices and compliance requirements.
- Continually update and improve training materials, manuals, and guides related to leasing, tenant relations, property maintenance, and management of multifamily apartment buildings.
- Train property management personnel on systems, processes, and regulations relevant to multifamily property management, including leasing software, tenant laws, and maintenance scheduling.
- Track the effectiveness of training programs by gathering feedback from staff and leadership, and adjust training plans to address specific areas for improvement.
- Ensure all team members, from leasing agents to property managers, receive proper training upon hire and ongoing development to meet property management goals and compliance standards.
- Work closely with program supervisors and property managers to meet training deadlines and adapt programs to meet site-specific and regulatory requirements.
- Independently create and implement training content related to social work, safety, leasing, maintenance management, tenant communication, and compliance with property management regulations.
- Maintain a detailed training calendar to provide staff with opportunities for professional development, covering all shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Manage a training database that provides regular reports on training completion and its impact on property management performance and outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensive training records, ensuring all personnel are certified in necessary areas, including leasing practices, tenant relations, and safety procedures.
- Participate in regular meetings with property management leadership to align training strategies with operational goals.
- Uphold confidentiality and maintain professional, ethical standards of conduct as outlined in company policies.
Position Type:
This is a full-time position. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Starting Salary:
60,000 per year based on qualifications.
