Job Description:
The Job/What You'll Do:
The Director, Talent Acquisition, leads the recruitment strategy, focusing on attracting and hiring top talent, especially for technical roles. This role works closely with HR, hiring managers, and leadership to ensure the company meets its staffing needs effectively.
This is a full-time position in our Concord, CA office with a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
Hiring Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute the hiring strategy, focusing on building a strong pipeline for technical roles
- Lead and mentor the recruitment team to ensure an efficient process
- Work with HR and managers to understand hiring needs and create effective strategies
Technical Hiring Focus:
- Oversee the recruitment of engineers, developers, and IT professionals
- Stay updated on technical hiring trends and best practices
- Implement innovative sourcing methods like coding challenges and technical interviewsProcess
Optimization:
- Continuously improve the recruitment process for efficiency and a positive candidate experience
- Streamline hiring workflows to reduce time-to-fill
- Use recruitment metrics to track progress and improve strategies
Employer Branding & Candidate Experience:
- Promote the company’s brand to attract top talent
- Ensure a positive candidate experience from start to finish
- Collaborate with marketing to create engaging recruiting content
Diversity & Inclusion:
- Lead efforts to attract diverse candidates and promote an inclusive hiring process
- Align recruitment with the company’s DEIB goals
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of technical recruiting and hiring tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 7 years in recruitment, with 3 years in a leadership role
- Relevant certifications in recruiting (e.g., AIRS, SHRM) are a plus
- Strong experience in technical recruiting for engineers and IT roles
- Experience in designing and executing hiring strategies
Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $125,000-$145,000.
This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
