Job Description
As a Human Resources Business Partner at Associa, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our organization's success by providing strategic HR guidance and executing fundamental HR responsibilities. This role requires a proactive and solutions-oriented individual who can collaborate with all levels of the organization to drive a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Employee Relations :
Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing concerns and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Conduct investigations, as needed, and provide resolution recommendations to maintain a positive workplace culture.
Talent Acquisition :
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and assist in the recruitment process.
Conduct interviews, participate in candidate evaluations, and contribute to the onboarding process.
Performance Management :
Support managers in performance review processes, providing guidance on goal setting, feedback, and development plans.
Implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
HR Compliance :
Stay current on federal and state employment laws, ensuring company policies and practices are in compliance.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Training and Development :
Identify training needs within the organization and work with leadership to develop and implement relevant training programs.
Support career development initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies.
Requirements
At least five years of experience in a Human Resources role, with a focus on employee relations, talent acquisition, and organization design.
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
Ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees and managers. Strong persuasion and conflict resolution skills required.
Knowledge of Human Resource and administrative policies and procedures.
Knowledge of FMLA / leave administration, performance management, unemployment and workers’ compensation claims, and employee relations.
Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.
Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.
Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
Candidate sourcing and relationship building skills.
