Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our print shop team. The Production Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our printing processes. This position involves a range of responsibilities related to print production, order processing, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of various printing equipment.
- Handle material preparation, including loading paper, inks, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production schedules.
- Perform quality checks to ensure the accuracy and quality of printed materials.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving minor equipment issues.
- Help with the packaging and shipping of printed orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
- Process and fulfill mail orders, ensuring timely delivery and accurate handling.
- Assist with website maintenance, updating product listings, images, and descriptions.
- Manage email correspondence related to print orders and customer inquiries.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing customer questions and concerns.
- Follow established procedures and best practices to maintain high-quality print standards.
- Accurately depositing checks into the appropriate business accounts.
- Fulfill all mail deliveries to FedEx and the postal service.
- Manages all onboarding of new client requests for Associa's Marketing Hub
- Register new and existing Branch employees to Associa E-Certified Hub
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (relevant technical education is a plus).
- Previous experience in print production or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of printing processes and equipment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate website content management systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and meet deadlines.
