Job Summary :
- Location : Albion, Nebraska
- Schedule : Day shift
- Pay : $17 / hour
As a Childcare Floater, you will collaborate with teachers to implement daily educational programs that are developmentally appropriate.
Responsibilities :
- Support childcare teachers in daily activities and educational programs
- Constantly monitor and supervise children to ensure their safety
- Assist in maintaining a safe and positive environment
- Cultivate relationships with children, parents, and guardians
- Alert childcare teachers to any emergencies
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks
- Greet parents and address children by name
- Adhere to procedures for preparing bottles and changing diapers
- Assist with sand, water, and playground activities
- Help put children to sleep when needed
- Participate in center-wide and classroom cleaning responsibilities
- Attend and engage in professional development opportunities
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements :
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must demonstrate good moral character
- Must pass a full background check
