What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Nurse - Women's Health Advantage position at Associated Surgeons and Physicians, LLC?
Responsible for performing all typical patient care and clerical tasks required within an office-based nursing role. May perform in the nursing role with direct patient care, or in a phone or schedule role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs all necessary patient care duties and clerical duties
- Responsible for participating in patient education, including test results, patient calls, and education in the office
- Serves as a resource for the Medical Assistant staff, and other staff members as necessary
- Participates in meetings and committees as assigned
- Maintains accurate and timely recordkeeping
- Responsible for other tasks as assigned
JOB TYPE:
- Onsite, 40 hours per week (8 hour shifts, M-F)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing required
- Current Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license
- One year or more of experience as a licensed nurse required, OBGYN experience preferred
- Knowledge of nursing theory, practices and regulations
