What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events Coordinator position at Association HR Outreach?
This part-time position with the North Shore Barrington Association of Realtors has responsibility for coordinating all association events. This includes meeting with vendors and venue staff, handling contracts and proposals with the approval of the CEO, managing all event preparations including set up and logistics, and meeting with coworkers in other departments, various volunteers, task force members, and strategic partners to plan and ensure events remain within budget.
The incumbent will coordinate dates, address marketing materials as needed, and have responsibility for registration and ticket coordination as well as other duties associated with events.
This position requires a high level of teamwork and collaboration. Qualified candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. The position requires very strong organization skills with attention to detail as well as time management and the ability to meeting deadlines.
Qualified candidates will posses prior experience with events management. A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required. The position pays $30/hour.
