ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
35% Leads and manages licensing and contracting associates, which includes:
- Staffing, training, scheduling, directing, motivating, coaching and developing associates to high performance;
- Communicating with and handling inquiries from our distributors and internal customers;
- Documenting and maintaining process flows and job procedures to meet service guarantees and compliance standards;
- Establishing and monitoring team and individual goals and performance;
- Completing and conducting performance appraisals;
- Assigning and monitoring workload and workflow;
- Determining and maintaining staffing models in order to meet service guarantees and scorecard objectives; and
- Staying abreast of industry-related developments and activities.
30% Oversees daily production of licensing and contracting to meet production and customer service standards, which includes:
- Establishing, monitoring and maintaining customer service standards and measurements;
- Identifying, developing and implementing process improvement changes;
- Ensuring compliance with Company, state and federal regulations, including privacy regulations relating to customer information; and
- Investigating and resolving agent issues and complaints.
30% Oversees system-related projects for individual and worksite distribution, which includes:
- Managing and leading carrier-to-carrier distribution opportunities (project management, training, travel, etc.);
- Complete and thorough understanding of LifePro administrative system as it relates to agent/agency set-up, market codes, deal codes, advance rules, hierarchy changes, level changes, etc.;
- Ensuring projects related to individual and worksite distribution are completed timely and accurately; and
- Communicating changes in procedures and processes to internal and external customers.
5% Performs other functions, which includes:
- Managing projects for newly implemented processes and procedures;
- Assisting with and participating in team functions and events for the agent and new business administration;
- Assisting in special projects and other related duties as requested;
- Serving as a member of various committees and implementation teams; and
- Completing other functions/assignments as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Four to six years of experience in underwriting, business or related field required.
- Professional oral and written communication skills required.
- Decision-making ability and analytical thinking skills required.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with others required.
- Talent required in purpose, focus, work ethic, competition, persuasion, relationship extension, team, positivity, stimulator, caring, arranger, and learner.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent.
PHYSICAL AND WORK SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
- May require work in excess of 40 hours a week to complete functions of position.
