Collections Specialist (Hybrid)
Position : Collections Specialist (Hybrid - 1 day on-site per week)
Location : Herndon, VA
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Order to Cash Manager, the successful candidate will maintain master data for a subset of our customer base, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing. The Collections Specialist will also liaise with clients to ensure prompt payment of outstanding invoices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collect debts and maintain receivables at a minimum of 95% within 90 days or less.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly processes to ensure best practices are followed.
- Assist with month-end reports and reconciliations, including bad debt provisions and process level write-ups.
- Provide hands-on training to the team to ensure consistent application of processes and procedures.
- Maintain notes and procedures for SAP research.
- Facilitate customer debt payments through positive customer service.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks, reports, and projects.
- Ensure accuracy of information and completed projects.
- Communicate persuasively and tactfully with clients regarding debt.
- Demonstrate strong follow-through in collecting money.
- Maintain a high level of BSI / Product knowledge.
- Understand all ISO 9000 certifications according to BSI's regulatory affairs quality policy manual.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $31.25 / hr.
