Structural Designer / Drafter
with expertise in
Tekla Structures ,
SDS / 2 , and
steel detailing
to join a dynamic team in Houston, Texas.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and prepare detailed
structural drawings , plans, and 3D models using
Tekla Structures
SDS / 2 .Perform
steel detailing , ensuring accurate connection designs and shop drawings for fabrication.Collaborate with engineering teams to meet project specifications and design requirements.Revise and update existing designs based on client feedback or project changes.Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices.Maintain accurate and organized project records, including CAD files and design documentation.Work closely with project managers and engineers to resolve technical challenges and ensure project success.Assist in creating construction-ready models and detailing for fabrication and erection processes.
RequirementsExperience :
2-7 years in CAD design / drafting, with a focus on structural or construction-related projects.Software Proficiency :
Advanced knowledge of
Tekla Structures ,
SDS / 2 , and other CAD tools.Steel Detailing Expertise :
In-depth experience in steel detailing, including shop drawings and connection designs.Technical Skills :
Strong understanding of structural design principles and construction processes.Attention to Detail :
