Position Opportunity
The Associate Operations Coordinator (AOC) is responsible for a broad range of administrative support for business and process functions to create and maintain efficiency within the location.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform administrative duties for locations operational needs
- Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries and manage outgoing mail and freight
- Receptionist duties: greet visitors, and answer and direct phone calls
- Monitor supply stock of uniforms, Safety & Office equipment, and chemicals
- Assist with cost effective travel arrangements and scheduling
- Keep per diem log updated
- Review and correct timesheets for non-exempt personnel
- Accountable for tracking or maintaining department specific information in databases or systems
- May assist in coordinating technical training
- May support cross departmental functions
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to direct manager
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
- All other duties as assigned by direct management

Qualifications
Education/Training/Certifications: Must have a high school diploma and 2 years of job-related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Related Experience: Ability to read and comprehend instructions with little direction. One year of demonstrated professional telephone etiquette for small to mid-size company. Previous experience creating, tracking, and expediting purchase orders highly desirable.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide basic numbers
- Perform these functions using units, American money and weight measurement, volume and distance
- Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Great organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task
