Astronics AES is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our team in Kirkland, WA.
This is an onsite position, working Monday - Friday in the facility.

JOB SUMMARY
The Shipping Clerk will schedule, process and track product shipments in partnership with internal and external customers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform administrative duties in support of activities related to the shipping of finished goods
- Communicate and coordinate with transportation companies
- Handle routine questions and problems and maintains open communication with other departments throughout the shipping/delivery cycle
- Log order information into the computer and files and distributes paperwork as necessary
- Package and prepare products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges
- Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped
- Review customer orders
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Demonstrates awareness of job duties (typically <1 year of direct experience in the essential functions of the position)
- Experience with FedEx Ship Manager, DHL Easy Ship and UPS Worldship desired.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- As a US Department of Defense Contractor, Astronics is bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must be a US Person under ITAR to be eligible.
- An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a pre-employment background screen and drug test which includes screening for the use of cannabis.
Salary is $18.46 - $24.97 per hour. Several job-related and non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience in comparable roles, skill sets, training, education, licensure or certifications, other qualifications, market conditions and business needs influence actual salary offered.
