As an Account Executive at Astute, you'll play a crucial role in managing core accounts while expanding our client base with innovative solutions. Your focus will be on achieving and surpassing individual and team gross profit (GP) targets.
Position Location: This role is based in our Austin, Texas office, where local candidates will be designated for inside sales roles and may enjoy schedule flexibility after successful acclimation and performance. Out-of-state candidates will be considered for remote roles.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize market research and lead qualification techniques to identify high-potential customers and highlight the benefits of Astute's value-added services.
- Manage and cultivate core accounts while developing new ones to exceed GP goals.
- Identify customer needs and effectively apply our value proposition to drive sales growth and profitability.
- Qualify opportunities, select suppliers, and adjust pricing strategies based on market trends.
- Take ownership of meeting customer delivery commitments and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
- Negotiate pricing within your territory to optimize sales performance and meet targets.
- Maintain and monitor metrics, collaborate with the team, and strive to achieve individual GP targets.
Requirements:
- A passionate and results-driven attitude.
- Proven experience in conducting outbound calls to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Strong interpersonal skills to nurture relationships, negotiate confidently, and handle objections with resilience.
- Excellent communication skills and a talent for building strong client relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an office setting, fostering team engagement and collaboration.
- Attention to detail and a proactive, entrepreneurial spirit.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
