Student Crowdfunding Assistant 

The ASU Foundation fosters partnerships between ASU and like-minded individuals, corporations and foundations who believe in ASU’s mission and provide resources for ASU to manifest its charter into meaningful impact. These partnerships empower ASU to advance student access, serve our community, protect the planet, create equity in higher education and conduct research for the public good.

The Student Crowdfunding Assistant serves to manage and execute the Annual Giving crowdfunding program. This position interacts with partners from all areas of the university to identify, train, and manage charitable crowdfunding campaigns that support Arizona State University students, programs, and units. Student Assistants will also work within the PitchFunder’s platform to engage students and other members of the ASU community in organized fundraising efforts. The position is dynamically involved in growing the PitchFunder program, helping the effort to take shape and grow within the ASU community. Student Assistants will work with the Senior Annual Giving Channel Manager to collaboratively evolve and execute a training and coaching program for PitchFunder participants. Student Assistants will also have the opportunity to identify potential PitchFunder campaign participants, build professional relationships with key partners across campus, and manage the campaign process leading to fundraising success and securing essential support for ASU.

This position will require approximately 16-20 hours per week.​

What you’ll do: 

• Professionally represent ASU, Annual Giving, and ASU Foundation for a new American university
• Mentor campus partners through the crowdfunding process within the PitchFunder program
• Guide and motivate campus partners to ensure they can achieve fundraising goals through successful campaigns on the platform
• Foster relationships with ASU partners and student groups and identify potential crowdfunding campaign partners
• Provide insight and feedback in the creation and evolving of training modules and crowdfunding platform
• Work with Annual Giving Manager to develop a program to support identification and onboarding of potential campaign partners
• Build awareness and interest in PitchFunder program among campus community
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to prepare collateral materials
• Professional experience in an office setting
• Basic graphic design, analytical skills
