1st shift position - 8am - 6pm. M-F
Summary
Provides support to engineering and manufacturing staff to ensure that the product is built in accordance with customer specifications, while maintaining production flow and following company procedures. Maintains company and customer engineering records, documentation, and other related technical data by performing the following duties. This position may require travel with probability of relocation to our Tennessee facility in the future.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or four (4) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must understand Microsoft Office
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

- Ability to program with and without CAM software using various CNC equipment for both production and fixture fabrication.
- Sets up and preforms validation of CNC program to ensure fulfillment of customer requirements.
- Identify required tooling to achieve customer requirements.
- Aid in the development of in-house machining specifications as directed by the customer
- Conducts or assists in evaluations to resolve production problems relating to machining, machining equipment and/or process
- Assists with in-plant training of personnel to include principles of operation and manufacturing process
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product
- Participate in design review for tooling, fixturing and or part print evaluations.
- When necessary, a candidate maybe required work around production hours to meet customer deadlines.
