Job Summary
ATI is seeking a highly skilled Material Flow Leader to lead and coordinate the planning, scheduling, and execution of material flow through the operations of a specific Operational footprint. The successful candidate will provide plans that meet delivery performance objectives and minimize excess inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the application/planning, order loading, capacity levels, and lead times process for Titanium Pack Rolled Sheet.
- Manage the scheduling and direct movement of materials, working closely with planning for related equipment capability.
- Collaborate with the Customer Account Sales team and Order Entry personnel to improve order entry flow, communicate lead times, and resolve order entry issues.
- Perform data analysis to optimize schedules and increase material throughput.
- Meet weekly On-Time delivery performance targets and plan recommendations to improve On-Time delivery performance.
- Maintain backlog issues and discuss equipment loading and discrepancies with Operations, arranging and discussing equipment set-ups.
- Closely coordinate with Supply Chain to maintain customer expectations on order acknowledgement and On Time Delivery performance to planned delivery dates.
- Review production reports after each shift and discuss any discrepancies with operations.
- Work closely with Operations Leaders and other operating personnel to ensure adherence to schedules.
- Assist in developing a set of meaningful reports that track weekly performance to plan/forecast in each of the essential areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of products, materials, shipping procedures, and flow of material.
Preferred Qualifications
- S. degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Technical field.

- In-depth understanding of production control flow and logistics issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills required in dealing with both internal and external customers.
