Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Azure Solutions Architect/Engineer with expertise in the Azure Government Cloud. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, adept at quickly building functional, secure, and automated solutions, and thrives in a consulting environment. You will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive solutions that align with our client’s strategic objectives, ensuring their systems are resilient, sustainable, and optimized for performance while driving down IT costs.
Job Requirements:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and automated Azure solutions tailored to client needs, with a focus on Azure Government Cloud.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into effective architecture and technology solutions.
- Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely delivery of solutions within scope and budget.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including architecture diagrams, project plans, and technical specifications.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices for Azure deployment, security, and compliance, with an emphasis on sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement automated solutions that streamline processes, reduce manual intervention, and ensure quick adaptation to changing functional and compliance requirements.
- Continuously improve and refine project management processes, documentation standards, and communication strategies.
- Work closely with our team to build long-term partnerships with clients, ensuring ongoing support and evolution of their cloud ecosystems.
- Remote position with occasional travel.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as an Azure Solutions Architect/Engineer, with a strong focus on the Azure Government Cloud.
- Three years working with the Department of Defense.
- Proven consulting experience, with the ability to work effectively with clients to identify and solve complex problems.
- Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time.
- Expert-level documentation and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance frameworks, and best practices for Azure architecture.
- Experience in creating automated solutions that support sustainable processes and drive IT costs down.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fast and proficient keyboard skills, with a talent for building and deploying solutions quickly.
- A United States citizen and able to obtain a secret Department of Defense clearance.
