Director of Sales

Atlas OT is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales. We are a small Operational Technology firm with big growth plans. We are looking for someone that can take initiative, drive positive changes, bring enthusiasm, and apply effective communication skills across all levels of the organization. We need a team player who excels in a collaborative environment but can also work proactively and independently with little direction.

The ideal candidate would be someone with experience in Industrial Industries, engineering, construction, or other large scale sales pursuits. Willing to lead by example with sales development and marketing while growing and developing their own team.

  • Create and implement strategic sales and marketing plans that successfully attract industrial, engineering, and construction firms large and small nationally.
  • Monitor competitors’ products, including relevant sales and marketing data
  • Use available data to accurately forecast sales and set appropriate performance goals
  • Complete market research and analyze results to adjust sales and marketing strategy for maximum success
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients, including negotiating and closing on major contracts
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to enhance and develop the brand.
  • Recruits, grows and manages sales and marketing teams.
  • Establishes goals and career development plans for all direct reports.
  • Provide leadership, strategic planning, and monitor all sales activities
  • Any other related duty as assigned or requested.

What We Do :

Automation and Controls for all your Operational Technology needs. RTU, PLC, Flow Computer, SCADA and DCS system design, procurement, programming and support. Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls Engineering and procurement. Control Panel and VFD Panel Design, Procurement, Fabrication and testing with full service programming and integrated Factory Acceptance Testing. Managed SCADA hosting and services. Working with all major brands, Rockwell, Siemens, Opto22, Red Lion, Schneider and more. Supporting all industries including energy, manufacturing, food and beverage, water wastewater, building automation, oil and gas, renewable, pharmaceuticals and more.

Requirements

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sales, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years’ experience managing sales team
  • Sales Strategy Development
  • Previous experience in senior sales role with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective clients
  • Demonstrated skill in negotiating and closing on critical sales contracts
  • Work is completed in hybrid work environments, in office with the team, occasionally from home, and in the field. Sales professionals are expected to work odd hours to be available to our clients, set up for events, attend breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, and travel for conferences and key customer engagement.
