Body Shop Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shop Manager to lead our Auto Paint and Collision Center. The Shop Manager will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, maintain a productive and safe work environment, and drive overall profitability. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a background in auto body repair and paint, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership
• Manage daily operations of the auto paint and collision shop, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation.
• Ensure all repairs and paint jobs meet company quality standards and are completed on time.
• Team Management:
• Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, painters, and administrative staff.
• Conduct regular training to ensure team members stay updated on industry standards, techniques, and safety protocols.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment.
• Customer Service:
• Ensure excellent customer experience by addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Review and approve repair estimates, keeping customers informed throughout the repair process.
• Financial Oversight:
• Monitor budgets, labor costs, and material expenses to maximize profitability.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce operational costs.
• Track KPIs such as cycle time, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
• Compliance & Safety:
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
• Regularly inspect equipment, tools, and work areas to maintain a safe and organized shop.
• Inventory Management:
• Oversee parts and material inventory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
