What You’ll Do
Student Recruitment
- Collaborate with the supervisor to develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment plan
- Identify target demographics and create tailored outreach strategies.
- Organize and participate in community events, open houses, and school tours.
- Work with the marketing team to create promotional materials, social media campaigns, and informational content.
- Utilize online platforms and local media to enhance visibility and attract prospective families.
- Organize informational sessions and workshops for interested families.
- Develop and manage canvassing events and data
- Follow up on student leads and coordinate with the Enrollment Coordinator for meetings.
- Collaborate with Principals on new student events and enrollment needs.
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, applications, and enrollment statistics.
Student Perseverance
- Collaborate with school leadership to develop and implement strategies for improving student retention based on data analysis and family feedback.
- Partner with counseling and support staff to address the holistic needs of students and families.
- Develop initiatives and resources to support families and encourage student retention.
- Conduct exit interviews to understand reasons for leaving and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports on retention data for school leadership and stakeholders.
- Maintain relevant sections of the withdrawal tracker for accurate student information.
Truancy Monitoring & Intervention
- Maintain a tracker for students reaching attendance warning or probation levels across all grades.
- Coordinate meetings with families, students, advisors, and leadership to discuss attendance trends, solutions, and action steps.
- Host Attendance Improvement Plan meetings with families and school leadership.
- Prepare and send communications (SchoolMessenger messages, emails, letters) to warn families about absences and arrange truancy meetings when necessary & document communications in SIS
Perform other related duties as assigned, including:
- Support additional community team events (check-in days & conferences as examples)
- Front desk coverage as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Compensation & Schedule
- Hourly/Non-Exempt
- $22.92 – $26.92 per hour (DOE)
- Full Time; Monday – Friday; 35 - 40 Hours per week

- Please note hourly positions are not annualized and will therefore only receive compensation for scheduled work days

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Bilingual (Spanish & English)
- Must have open availability and proven reliability
- Must possess excellent organizational skills
- Must have exceptional interpersonal skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a school administrative/office role or student services
- Experience in sales, customer service
- Experience with running canvassing campaigns or tabling events
Essential Job Functions
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the school and other facilities as needed.
