We are partnered with a financial services company in Manhattan seeking a Temporary Human Resources/Recruitment Coordinator to support key HR functions, including talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, and employee relations. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business area managers and employees to deliver proactive HR support and guidance.
- Lead and coordinate recruitment efforts, including:
- Developing and updating job descriptions, posting roles, and managing job boards
- Sourcing passive and active candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, and referrals
- Screening resumes and conducting preliminary interviews, scheduling interviews and managing candidate communications.
- Drive pipeline development and sourcing strategy to attract top talent in a competitive market
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies while mitigating legal risk.
- Support performance management activities including coaching, development plans, and promotion reviews.
- Assist with general HR operations such as data entry, reporting, and event coordination.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 2 years of HR and recruitment experience in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
