About the Role:
As a Help Desk Support Specialist, you’ll be the go-to resource for technical support across the company. You’ll troubleshoot a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues while helping employees stay connected, productive, and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all incoming IT support requests via phone, email, or remote access tools
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving Windows systems, Office applications, network connectivity, and hardware
- Set up and configure new user systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Maintain IT documentation, user guides, and knowledge bases
- Train users on common applications and tools as needed
- Monitor ticketing systems and ensure timely resolution and follow-up
- Collaborate with the IT Director on special projects and systems maintenance
- Track trends and recurring issues to help improve long-term IT strategies
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an IT help desk or tech support role
- Solid understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Highly organized, dependable, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple support tasks at once
- A customer-first mindset and a positive, proactive attitude
