Job Description :
The VP of Growth will lead our Business Development (BD), Capture, and Proposal team and activities. The VP of Growth is responsible for leading the growth of the company. This individual will lead the development of pipeline, capture, and win strategies for the Company. They will identify and shape proposal development opportunities and qualifications.
This position will be located at our Chantilly, Virginia, headquarters and will require travel to meet customers and partners.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manage and lead the BD, capture, and proposal development life cycle from Initial, Final, Pursuit to Bid. This includes but is not limited to, the following steps : analyzing and understanding the opportunity, planning and strategy development, teaming strategy and assembly, lead solutioning, research and content creation, writing and drafting, internal reviews and revisions, final production, submission of quality proposal, and post- submission debriefing and lessons learned.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, leadership, and program staff to understand client requirements and translate those into compelling and competitive proposals.
- Manage the input of all opportunity pipeline activities into the existing platform that will result in new business wins.
- Become a trusted advisor to our prospects and customers.
- Represent and convey our brand, core capabilities, and value proposition to customers and industry partners.
- Modernize, operate, and continuously improve capture processes by suggesting and incorporating changes into our existing platform.
- Take ownership and responsibility of the proposal library and keep it up to date.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to create collateral and marketing campaigns that generate leads and drive demand across all current and potential customers.
- Actively engage and collaborate with all key stakeholders.
- Nurture and share the Company’s core values, vision, and mission.
- Attend industry business development events on a regular basis.
Minimum Qualifications :
with revenue in range of $75M-$100M to achieve recurring organic revenue growth rates in excess of 25%.
