NUMERIC SKILLS:
Requires the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages and simple statistical methods.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Requires advanced knowledge of various software applications to create complex documents, reports and/or graphics.
WORK CONDITIONS:
Works in an office environment.Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.
OTHER INFORMATION:
Overnight travel is required.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Must have strong proficiency in multiple human resource disciplines, including recruiting, compensation practices, performance management, employee relations, leave of absence, and accommodations.
- Requires four years of experience in an HR generalist or HR partner roles.
- Strong conflict management and consultation skills and the ability to independently navigate first-time and complex situations and drive results.
Primary Duties
- Works on enterprise-wide projects to increase value of HR as a valued business partner.
- Partners with Culture and Safety to continually assess ways to influence client groups to improve in areas.
- Leads or oversees complex employee relations issues that may require thorough investigations, interaction with legal counsel, interaction with federal/state regulatory agencies, and liaison with internal management.
- Resolves complex HR business problems including organizational interventions.
- Obtains sponsorship and buy-in to support HR programs; where applicable, conducts new program/idea pilots providing feedback for optimum results.
- Conducts needs analysis and assessments collaborating with stakeholders to develop action plans.
- Advises leadership regarding new federal and state legislation, along with internal HR policy/procedure changes.
- Identifies talent and partners with leadership to develop employees.
- Provides day-to-day performance management feedback/guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, work force planning).
- Provides solutions involving employee matters that align with business objectives.
- Models living AtmoSpirit, providing positive influence to affect change in the culture.
- Facilitates employee sessions and meetings.
- May guide or oversee another HR team member's work.
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or equivalent, and four years progressively responsible experience in Human Resources, including at least two years as an HR Generalist.
- PHR/SPHR preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
