What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Engineer position at Atomos Systems?
About Us
Atomos Systems was founded to create embodied intelligence to transform the physical world for the benefit of all humanity. We are in the midst of a transformative era—where machines will match or surpass human intelligence in all cognitive tasks. As this milestone is reached, the bottleneck of progress shifts from thought to action, from the digital to the physical world of atoms. The future demands machines that don’t just process information but shape the world around us. From building infrastructure to automating complex labor, the next frontier is robotics—capable, versatile, and as skilled as the humans they work alongside. At Atomos Systems, we are engineering general-purpose super-humanoid robots designed to operate and transform the physical world. With intelligence and dexterity that rival human ability, they will redefine what is possible, expanding the limits of human potential in every field. We are seeking a creative and driven Mechanical Engineer to join as a founding team member.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer who is passionate about precision mechanisms, novel actuation systems, and advanced robotics. You’ll be responsible for the mechanical architecture, performance, reliability, manufacturability, and scalability of our robotic hand.
