Adult Residential Facility (ARF) Manager
The ARF Manager (Administrator/ Group Home Manager). Our homes provide 24/7 care to the clients. The position is required to be directly involved in the day to day oversight and support of the assigned facilities. Primary duties and responsibilities are to supervise all client needs in accordance with Individual Service Plan (ISP), Individual Program Plans (IPP) and Program Design, along with the direct supervision and development of Direct Support Staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field of study OR a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as an ARF/RCFE licensed administrator OR equivalent managerial experience
- ARF Administrator certificate preferred
- DSP 1 & DSP 2 certificates required
- Meets all State, Agency, Regional Center, and Company requirements under Title 17 & Title 22
- Able to pass federal and state background clearance, drug and health screen
- Must secure and maintain CPR/First Aid and CPI certificates within 30 days.
- Knowledgeable of the care, support and supervise individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Demonstrate professionalism, good judgment, problem solving skills and exhibit unquestionable work ethics.
- Must meet competency requirements for basic computer and software usage.
- Must possess valid driver license with clean records and maintain current automobile liability insurance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the provision and delivery of program services to the clients required by applicable law and regulation, including those services identified in the clients’ and facility plans.
- Maintain and manage program, employee, and client documentation and records.
- Participate in the recruitment, employment, training, and scheduling of staff.
- Supervise, manage and train employees.
- Attend all staff meetings and trainings as required.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external professionals and organizations.
- Work rotating on-call weekend schedule.
