This person is assigned to work 40 hours per week providing Case Management to clients referred for the Pretrial Programs. The individual in this position is responsible for completing the monthly program report and data collection. The person in this position must maintain the confidentiality of all programs, client and agency information. This person's work schedule includes both day and evening hours, maintaining flexibility to meet the needs of participants and program operation. As Case Manager, this person takes the on-site lead in being responsible for participant referral, intake, assessment, orientation, screening, and placement of clients. Perform case management duties including monitoring conditions, generating client reports, communication with referral source, enforcing rules, and tracking participant activities. Ensure contract objectives are met. This person is required to maintain an up-to-date Pretrial Program Policies and Procedures Manual. QualificationsEducation & Work Experience : Must have a 4-year Human Service Degree and appropriate combination of degree and experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities : Case Management / counseling experience with Correctional clients.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with clients with diverse backgrounds.Excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent organizational skills.Experience in assessment and screening applications for determining risk, need beneficial.Must have computer experience.Valid driver's license to operate motor vehicle in the State of Wisconsin.The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
