Navico Group is a stand-alone division of Brunswick, the world’s largest recreational marine business. We are seeking a Forecasting Analyst to join our team in Lowell, Michigan. The Forecast Analyst is responsible for governing and setting the Demand Plan for a subset of Marine P&A Categories in the Navico Group portfolio. This position will partner closely with internal and external members utilizing multiple forms of guidance to provide a Forecast for the organization to Operationally support. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a SKU based demand forecast using Demand Solutions System Track performance and provide analysis of actual versus Forecast Work closely with sales representatives, sales managers, and category managers to obtain forecasting information to identify trends Controlling, communicating, and administering New Item Introductions and discontinuations as required Analyze effects of SKU reductions and assure proper communications to sales, marketing, and production Function as team member of the Sales & Operations Planning Process Maintain awareness and communicate excess and discontinued inventory status to marketing Maintain customer scorecard measuring fill-rates and error rates vs. established goals Perform analysis to identify trends, seasonality, and other demand variations In depth knowledge of the components of the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process Work effectively with other members of the SIOP team Assemble the data necessary to run the SIOP process Evaluate output and propose changes to the SIOP plan Participate in strategic planning and control development with senior management Education and Experience Requirements BS/BA degree in Business, Statistics, or Supply Chain APICS certification or training a plus Demand planning/forecasting/ analytical systems experience preferred. Experience with Demand Solutions, Logility or other Sales Forecasting Software preferred Strong knowledge of SIOP and the components of a SIOP Process Skill Requirements: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated project management, process, and conceptual skills Show independent decisiveness with the ability to collaborate with various departments to build consensus Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication Practice applied mathematics in collecting and interpreting quantitative data Possess capacity to think in a careful and discerning way, to solve problems, to analyze data, and to recall and apply information. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and Microsoft Project.
