Mitigation Manager
Location: Indian Trail, NC
Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually (dependent on experience and certifications)

About the Role
As the Mitigation Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the mitigation department, ensuring the timely and efficient completion of projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will drive operational excellence and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Responsibilities
· Team Leadership:
- Supervise, train, and mentor mitigation technicians, crew leaders, and support staff.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to improve team effectiveness.
· Project Oversight:
- Manage the scheduling, execution, and completion of mitigation projects.
- Perform job site inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and company protocols.
- Provide technical direction on water damage, mold remediation, and fire damage mitigation projects.
· Customer Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and excellent service throughout the project lifecycle.
- Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
· Operational Excellence:
- Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including job scope, photos, and notes, using company software.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained, inventoried, and available for use.
- Manage department budgets, track job profitability, and control costs.
· Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with IICRC standards and OSHA regulations.
- Conduct safety meetings and enforce proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
What You’ll Bring
· Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years in mitigation/restoration, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
· Certifications:
- IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT) required; advanced certifications preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
· Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with restoration industry software (e.g., Xactimate, DASH, or similar).
- Ability to assess and resolve complex technical challenges.
· Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
