Duties
- Manage and coordinate patient appointments using scheduling software, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
- Communicate effectively with patients to confirm appointments, provide information, and address any inquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage health information in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and efficient office operations.
- Utilize phone systems to handle incoming calls professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Work on referrals as they come in by fax or through LeadingReach.
- Support management on tasks as needed, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems such as Meditech.
- Familiarity with DrChrono a plus
- Strong background in health information management and medical administrative support.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on professional phone etiquette.
- 1-year Experience in a medical office is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
