What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist/Patient Care Coordinator position at Audiology and Hearing Center of GI?
We are a busy, well-established, growing, multi-site Audiology and Hearing Healthcare private practice seeking a motivated Receptionist to serve as a support staff for our clinic in Grand Island, NE.
This position will serve as a contact for patients visiting the practice. This person will be responsible for all aspects of front desk duties including but not limited to scheduling appointments, collecting copays and payments, and handling physician referrals. Additionally, this person will handle patient hearing aid clean and checks as well as minor repairs as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide great customer service to our patients in a friendly, courteous and helpful manner
- Help keep the front desk and reception area clean, organized and welcoming
- Greet patients and visitors, answer phones and direct calls as needed/necessary, and check-in and/or check-out patients before and after appointments
- Maintain patient demographic and medical record information
- Schedule new patient appointments as well as all follow-ups and reschedules
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience appreciated but not required as we will train the right person on software, hearing aid care and more.
- Must be motivated and eager to learn about the hearing healthcare industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization, multi-tasking, and computer skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
