Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Secondary Marketing Manager to join our fast-growing enterprise with career development opportunities. Reporting to the SVP of Capital Markets, you will take an active role in critical company functions. Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for oversight of day-to-day trading desk activities:
Setting pricing
Hedging
Execution decisioning
Reviewing exception requests
Daily reporting (P&L, pipeline, hedge analytics, lock monitoring, etc.)
Handling lock desk escalations
- Develop new models and maintain/enhance existing models for best execution, pricing analytics, pipeline management, and hedge effectiveness
- Ensure accuracy of pricing engines (3rd party and proprietary)
- Build and test various pricing tools via VBA and SQL
- Manage bulk bid process including working with investors, pricing pools, submitting bids, obtaining market color
- Generate reporting and data visualizations that drive business decisions for internal and external users
- Develop and maintain secondary marketing policies and procedures
- Leverage your intellectual flexibility and communication skills to solve problems across multiple business units
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of experience in mortgage secondary marketing
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Advanced VBA and SQL skills a plus
- Ability to perform tasks and complete projects with limited direction
- Detail oriented and organized
- Works extremely well in a fast-paced environment
- This is an in-office role and must be able to be in Orange County, CA office 5 days/week
