Job Title: Head of Talent

Job Summary

The Head of Talent is responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to support the organization's growth and success. This role oversees all talent management processes, ensuring that the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent. The Head of Talent works closely with senior leadership to align talent strategies with business goals and fosters a culture of continuous learning and development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract top-tier talent across all levels.
  • Lead the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and educational institutions.
  • Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of hiring strategies.
  • Design and implement employee development programs, including leadership development, mentorship, and career progression initiatives.
  • Oversee the performance management process, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and individual career goals.
  • Create and manage succession planning programs to ensure a robust talent pipeline for key roles.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify skills gaps and develop training programs to address them.
  • Develop and implement retention strategies to reduce turnover and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular employee surveys and feedback sessions to understand employee needs and concerns.
  • Lead initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Analyze retention metrics and make data-driven recommendations to improve employee retention rates.
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations on talent-related matters.
  • Align talent strategies with business objectives to support the organization’s growth and success.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent management.
  • Manage the talent management budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and ROI.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Talent Management team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for the team, providing regular feedback and support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in talent management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing talent strategies that drive business results.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment, talent development, and retention best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
