Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis, including valuation, financial modeling, and transaction scenario analysis to support M&A, capital raising, and advisory transactions.
- Prepare and maintain detailed financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), leveraged buyout (LBO), and comparable company analyses.
- Perform comprehensive industry research and market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks relevant to client transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of transaction-related documentation, including pitch books, offering memoranda, and client presentations.
- Support due diligence processes by gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor financial markets, industry developments, and competitor activities to provide insights for client engagements and transaction strategies.
- Prepare internal reports, transaction summaries, and maintain deal tracking documentation.
- Collaborate with senior bankers, clients, and external advisors to ensure the smooth execution of transactions.
- Provide support in client meetings, calls, and other communications, helping to manage client relationships and expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, financial analysis, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and analysis, with advanced skills in Excel and financial software.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage complex data sets.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and clients.
- Knowledge of capital markets, M&A processes, and financial regulations is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience with financial transactions and an understanding of legal and regulatory aspects of investment banking deals is a plus.
