What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant - Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic - Part Time position at Augusta Health Brand?
The AMG Office Practice Administrative Assistant performs duties as assigned that include receptionist, secretarial and operational duties for Physician Office Practice, while serving as the liaison between the patient, other staff and the physician.
Initiates implementation of processes and or has access to all operational components of the office as required by daily operation.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent required
- Previous experience doing similar duties.
- Medical office training or equivalent of two years physician's practice experience preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects and duties with deadlines
- Ability to work with multi-line phone and computer systems accurately and efficiently
- Effective customer service and relationship building skills with patients, visitors and staff; ability to respect dignity of all patients and follow HIPAA rules without breaches in confidentiality
- Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
